Yeah.               He reminds me of a petty child.    His mama passed away.......and the part he holds onto for months and then complains about after his release.........is "They didn't reach out to me".  He is a grown man,  with his own family,  his own support system.

Not everyone I thought would show up,  showed up to my mother's funeral,  I didn't try to shame individuals afterward though,  for not attending because it is fuging childish.

D. Williams is a man, and is entitled to his thoughts and feelings, just is any person is.

I tend not listen to what players say after they've been cut.

I don't think any words can tarnish the fact that he was a pro's pro, and what he has accomplished as a Panther.

Like i said in anothee thread, i don't give a damn what he has to say about the Panthers at this point.

I like Deangelo but after listening to your "traing camp tales" about how much D-Lo shuns the fans and is an under the radar locker room diva I view him in a different light.

He is still a generally good-guy but just began noticing how seemingly isolated he is on the sidelines. The diva tag started to make a lot of sense to me.

I think calling out the organization and calling out your teammates is two different things. From what little I've actually seen reported on it, I think he's calling out both.

While that is a loud statement about how I assumed the organization operated, it is an even louder statement about who he must be as a teammate. In my never to be humble opinion.

But in the end, while I am emotionally invested in this team, I need to be reminded that I shouldn't personally be invested in the players, coaches and others as it is an entertainment business. DWill reminded me. And for that I thank him.

His heart is in Arkansas /Memphis.... I wish him well in the future and was sorry to hear of his mom's passing. To be quite honest, it's nobody's business why teammates/organization employees did or did not choose to attend a funeral. That is private stuff and I refuse to cast judgements about it. He should have left that alone.

No. He answered a question. The only ones making a big deal of it are those who think their dick is bigger than everyone elses or have no idea how to see things through other people's eyes.

In fairness, he sought out that interview with the purpose of being asked that question most likely...for an audience. That is the likely reality of all of it. Yeah, you can't say anything is a fact....but he didn't stage this huge rare production just to say I got cut.

its refreshing to hear somthing other than the usual " i want to thank the organization...." stuff.

It is refreshing to see a rare highly paid falling star go out like Delhomme. Most take swipes. Williams, Jenkins, Peppers, 89, Beason....most take some sort of jab back at different levels.

Personally, I was motivated to make a tribute video about him...but after all the extra stuff going on, i've since lost that motivation...I do hope it comes back though, because he was one of my favorite panthers

Not to get off topic....but you got any plans for a Kelvin or Stewart 2015 highlight vid?

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
