Or... Or...

Stop beating the hell out of defenseless persons.

Yeah coz men being beaten by women aren't defenseless either huh?? what would happen if a man was to call the cops on a woman beating him?? he'd be laughed at.. double standard at it's best.

Here is why the NFL is a hypocritical fuging league ran by the grimiest commissioner on the planet.

They like to hoot and holler about how domestic violence is awful and have those stupid commercials where nobody can speak about it because it's tough. They suspend guys indefinitely on the BS exempt list for it until they come up with the actual non-paid suspension length. They act like they give two-fugs about players wives and girlfriends and how they are treated, and then what do they do??

They suspend schedule Hardy's first game back against the Panthers on a nationally televised thanksgiving family fuging holiday because it'll make for some great TV.

This poo right here is why fug Goodell. You hypocritical POS.

That's astute. The fact that they release the terms of the punishment the day after the schedule is released reeks of sensationalism.

I dont think many people on here really understand what type of damage a top-5 DE, in his prime, well-rested while brewing and stewing over having his pride and brand tarnished over a year and a half can unleash when the reigns are taken off.

Oher better put a circle around Thanksgiving and better not be thinking anout pumpkin pie until after the game is over.

hardy is probably going to get double teamed all day.  that's life after star and kk are no longer lining up next to you with dwan edwards and colin cole rotating in.

Panthers got fugged last year having Hardy mock suspended and still having him count against the cap, and will be fugged this year because we won't be able to get a comp pick for his ass.

NFLPA will appeal this and win. Interesting though how the one person who wasn't actually found guilty in a court of law will receive the longest suspension.

Maybe if he'd been honest with everyone from the start instead of lying and covering up, he'd be well over and done with his suspension and getting ready to play right now.

Wait, no, you're right... my bad.

POOR POOR GREG HARDY THE VICTIM.

What did he lie about?

If it's a muscle-bound 6'5 290lb man saying a 5'3 105lb woman is beating him? Yes, he'd be laughed at.

Interesting on how Monday Thomas Davis said that he was the biggest advocator for Hardy and now Charles Johnson is tweeting how they the league is doing Hardy wrong. When the team's two biggest leaders are still openly on Hardy's side, even with all this public negativity, it leads me to believe there is so much more to this story.

If just being accused of domestic violence is enough to warrant a 10-game suspension, how much is an actual conviction worth?

He didn't get suspended because he was accused. He got suspended because there were photos showing the evidence of how he beat her.

It's not an accusation, it's a fact.

The judge saw the photos, and found him guilty.

The NFL saw the photos, and suspended him 10 games.

Did you not even read the NFL statement? The photos showed bruises and marks on Nicole's body. He beat her.

Bruises and marks could be consistent with restraint by him or his friend if she was hitting him with her heel, as well as his testimony that she was intentionally hurting herself and freaking out - which is completely reasonable for someone on cocaine.

The judge found him guilty by default. If there was actually evidence of Hardy having hit her, they wouldn't have tossed out the jury trial.

The NFL does as they please and what the public wants. They don't care about what's right. If this had happened 2 years ago they would've done nothing at all--as they initially did until the Rice tape came out.
