Looking over the list of players we've visited with, I think it's likely we go defense again in the 2nd.  It's a pure numbers game.

Offensive players I think are in play for us at #57 based off of visits:

Darryl Williams

Tyrus Thomas

Ty Sombrailo

Devin Smith

Justin Hardy

Ty Montgomery

Tyler Lockett

Duke Johnson

Tevin Coleman

Defensive players I think are in play for us at #57 based off of visits:

Carl Davis

Jordan Phillips

Eddie Goldman

Michael Bennett

Preston Smith

Owamagbe Odighizuwa

Za'Darius Smith

Mario Edwards Jr.

Danielle Hunter

D'Juan Smith

Steven Nelson

Ronald Darby

Quentin Rollins

Jalen Collins

Landon Collins

Jaquiski Tartt

I just think that based on the prospects we've been connected to, there's a very good chance that the BPA on Gettleman's board will be a defensive player at #57.

Looking at the flip side of that coin(playing devils advocate)... Wouldn't you want to take one of the offensive guys on the short list.. due to the odds that the number of defensive guys would allow one to slip into the third...

Glorious! and i will pop some popcorn and watch the huddle meltdown for three days straight and LAUGH. armchair GMs think they can hold a candle to Gettleman. psh. haha. i mean hey if we dont mortgage our future for a lackluster OT or a speedster receiver in a deep receiver draft, its a failed draft. right? isnt this how that works? lol

I really hope Atlanta doesn't get Maxx Williams, with a decent tight end they could be a whole lot better on offense

i really hope they dont pick him becasue i would love it if the Panthers drafted him. though then everyone would complain

Looking at that list I would pick Devin Smith on offense and I got a ton of guys I would love on defense. Besides the guys that aren't going to be there on offense I don't see any good value in Rd 2 without a trade up and I don't see that happening. I see a trade up in Round 3 because that would only cost a 4th/5th.

Basically we are looking at a stout defensive draft and tons of complaining if it breaks down like we are all projecting.
