If Stewart stumbles, even a little, or gets hurt, this man (he ain't no kid) may well take his job for good.

Lol

But durability isn't a part of his monsterness. So far CAP hasn't been injury prone. I'm not hoping for Stewart to stumble though, more like hoping for a return of 'Double Trouble'.

Fozzy will hopefully continue to be effective as a change of pace but don't think he's an every down back.

Stewart is not injury prone.

Very unlikely Wegher passes either Fozzy or CAP on the depth chart. Probably a practice squad player. Depends how many RBs we keep, as he could beat out Reaves, I just don't think we'll carry enough backs for him to make the 53.

.

I got to ask. Where do you conclude he wont bet these guys out? Fozzy is OK at best. CAP is a late round draft pick. Wegher dropped off the face of the earth because he beast his brother's ass. He is a perfect example of a good player getting lost in the system . At minimum he is equal to those guys and they'll have to bust there ass to be better. My bet. He beats one out for a roster spot.

By the time his rookie deal is up he'd be nearly at the wall (30 years old) when rb production goes down hill

This is true, but I'm hoping that the two years that he was out of football means that his legs will be fresher at that point in his career, having two less  years of pounding, wear, and tear.

    • Well sure, but if you're in NC, you would get them through a basic cable package.  And if you're not in the local area, then the cost would be fair because it's comparable to needing to go to a bar to watch every week. I'll also put it this way... Of all the subscriptions I have to pay for these days (and it's way too many), it's really one of only two that I feel are a fair price that I don't mind paying, the rest are all way too high. Side note... the other is for AMC's A-List, by far the best deal in entertainment (at least if you love the movie theater experience like myself).  $20 a month and can see up to 4 movies a week, 2 movies a month and you're making money on it compared to buying them individually.  I passed my break even point for the year in June, so will get 6+ months of "free" movies through the end of the year.
    • The NFL averages 2.2 million viewers per PRESEASON game, the HOF game had 6.9 million viewers. The NBA Finals averaged 10.3 million viewers for the Finals and 4.5 million across the playoffs overall. They aren't even comparable, the NFL makes twice as much money a year as the NBA does, of course the TV packages are going to be very different.  Also, tons of fans will watch as many NFL games as possible (mainly because of Fantasy), but not a whole lot of them are going to be watching random NBA games every single night, at least not in comparison to with the NFL.
