49ers third-year FS Eric Reid said he contemplated retirement in the offseason due to concussion concerns.

It's the same reason teammates ILB Chris Borland and RT Anthony Davis hung up the cleats. "I will continue to evaluate my own situation," Reid said. "If I have another concussion and I don’t feel like I can play any more, then I won’t. If I [have another concussion], and if I feel that I still can play, then I will. It’s just a case-by-case basis." Reid missed Week 17 last season with a concussion.

Phil's son Chris Simms got taken back to school (and the hospital) by former assistant principal Al Wallace.

I was at that game 10th row 50 yard line. It was an awesome sports weekend. Also sat behind homeplate for the yankees/rays game. Hit up mons and the hard rock

alright alright alright

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
