Stephen Hill finishes on a down note

Stephen Hill has been hot and cold throughout the offseason workouts. Today, he finished on a low.

During drills with the quarterbacks, receivers were practicing catching passes in the corner of the end zone. All receivers did well, except for Hill.

In his first attempt, Hill leaped up for the ball, but could not bring it down. The coaches gave him another try...same pass, same drop, same result.

Finally, as the rest of the team headed to mid field for the next drill, Joe Webb asked Hill to just stand there in the corner of the end zone and catch a pass. That too was a dropped ball by Hill.

Things did not improve for Hill during team drills either, He continued to drop catchable balls.

Dropped passes have plagued Hill's career thus far. It appears those questions won't be answered positively now that offseason workouts are over. Maybe training camp?

Does he just always suck when the media is watching him?

Just waiting for someone to come in and say we have to keep him regardless of all the drops because we need speed.

We need to keep him regardless bc we need speed! (Ignore the fact we have brown, ginn, and byrd..) we need about six or seven 6'4+ WRs!!!!

In all seriousness, would love to see hill put it all together but it's looking like he may be the bust he was pegged as. In any case with KB Funchess brown ginn olsen and cotchery.. I think we are in good shape this year in the passing game (pending shula ball).

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
