Panthers vs Browns replay on @1:30

Recommended Posts

A game that was far more competitive than it should have been.

We find a way to keep bad teams around, at least now we seem to eventually win.

maybe it's just the "Cam effect".  Like the ProBowl.  They just get amped up to go after Cam.

Collins Jones knocked out johnny, Luke was second.

I rewatched this and other games already, cause football is crack and I needs my crack. Not to be a negative nancey on panther board, but outside of last saints and falcunt game panther barley won each game. Reminder this is the NFL where most games are won by less than 7 points.

At one point the Panthers where 3-8-1 , all this talk about 12-4, divisonal championship game or bust talk is nice to want. Realistic after watching a few games I still see 9-7 fighting for playoffs. All this talk about improvement, yes so did all other teams too. They also drafted players just like the panthers....

The team that was 3-8-1 is not the same team that beat the Cardinals and gave the defending Super Bowl champs a fight. Nothing's guaranteed in this league, but this team has the ability to win 12 games this year.

Olsen doesn't get enough credit for his downfield blocking...beasted in the 4th quarter of this game.

And Bersin with a clutch grab on the same drive.

And Josh Norman's greatest INT of his career.  (we won't talk about the fumble and CLE recovery though)

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
