cam vs jake

Recommended Posts

watching the fan fest and they showed cam signing autographs. he grabs one, walks a few feet and signs another. what would it hurt to be more like jake? jake walked down the hill with sharpie in hand and signed until they made him leave. jake was a popular figure as well and drew crowds but he was there for almost everyone. i would think that if cam was same way, crowds wouldn't be as bad. i will say that i was able to get him his rookie year but extremely lucky to do so. just a thought. what say you?

All I've read is how cam does a great job giving autographs and seeing fans.  I've also heard he spends far more time with the kids than he does with the adults, so he's probably done giving autographs after he signs stuff for the kids.  Cam and Jake were both great in this respect, I mean, it's hardly like we have someone like Jay Cutler running our offense, and we've been lucky to have a fair amount of actually good guys QB the team.

    • He threw for 199 and 198 against Miami and the Cowboys so he didn't get them into that situation in those games. More importantly, Miami, the Cowboys and the Packers threw for 261, 256 and 273 yards respectivly - all more than Young. And yet they all lost. High passing yardage does not equate to wins.
    • Fair point, honestly didn't even realize he was listed as questionable as well, could still be for both of them in case either isn't able to go tomorrow. That Canales said something like "we'll check him out tomorrow to make sure he's able to go" still makes me think they were still expecting him to play, as that would be a weird way to phrase it if they felt he was more likely to not be playing. Still just hoping it would be like when a player feels something in a game, gets checked out, but goes back in.  And since it was just practice, once he felt anything, they just shut him down for the day to be safe.
    • The Golden Calf of Bristol was Mr Clutch time.  It’s the Skip Bayless argument.  Someone how being trash all game doesn’t matter….if you can cherry pick one random play late
