Cam, Stew, OL, and Olsen

I would say average at best.  Now if Stew stays healthy all season, Cam takes the next step and our Oline comes together in real games and performs like we all hope they can then maybe you could argue we would be above average.  Lots of things still have to happen however.

Pass protection looks great so far from o line starters, but for an above average run game, i need to see the first string actually get Stew some positive yards first.  The first two preseason games have featured nothing special with the starters.

What I saw from stew last week did not impress me at all.  However, the o-line play was much more encouraging.  I think short, johnson and star will make a marked difference in our D.  If they remain healthy, then a solid run game will get us enough for the post season

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
