Cornerback Melvin White made the hit that forced the fumble.

Linebacker Kevin Reddick recovered the football for the Panthers.

Anyone who watched the game would probably agree that turnover went a long way toward sealing the victory.

 

Earlier today, the Panthers waived both Reddick and White.

Meanwhile, Ginn - who came back to the Panthers during the offseason - is considered a lock to make this year's final roster.

White could remain a Panther however.  He was waived/injured.  Which means if he clears waivers he goes to IR.

Apparently it's a hamstring injury... but it didn't get a lot of coverage.  I'm not sure if it occurred in Friday's game or when.  I saw something about it this morning - maybe on BBR.  I forget.

Yes, White could potentially wind up on injured reserve. Thought I saw where someone had already picked up Reddick though.

I really liked White. He was at one point the best CB we had...then Gettlemagic happened. 

Best corner we had ?? Compared to the all star list of corners like Capt Munnerlyn, Drayton Florence and james dockery?? The only corner we have had the last few years has been J-No and that's it .. White's only plays were a pick 6 from a poo throw from matt ryan and his best pick was on Eli manning on Victor Cruz .. He was constantly being beat deep almost every game.
