It will be weird watching tonight

Seeing DeAngelo Williams in Black and Yellow and not Black and Blue for the first time.

I wish him luck, he will certainly be missed around here (not his fault he was overpaid).

I found it odd that we kept Stew who was oft injured, and the one year Williams is hurt, he's released. I'm over it now, but I have a feeling that he has a big night tonight!

I know that we'll all be watching, so I figured I'd start off a thread

edit: it's gonna hit me in the feels when they mention all his rushing records he had for us. Good times

Stewart was a beast last year when healthy..  Deangelo was not. That's why we let him go. Not to mention that he's a diva. But good luck to him in Pittsburgh.. He'll always be a Panther to me

really don't want this thread to take a tun for the worse, but let's be honest for a min. DeAngelo was a beast for far many more seasons while Stew was on the bike. I get whythe decision was made, it was hard seeing Smitty go, and I felt the same way with DeAngelo going. I think it's only natural though.

Stewart should most most definitely have a career year if he can stay healthy though.

Williams didn't get released because he was hurt, he got released because he wasn't worth the money and it was finally financially viable for us to let him go.  The same reason why Stewart will be let go after this season barring a spectacular season.

Williams had one exceptional year.  He got paid and then a slight breeze would make him fall down.  Stewart has always delivered when healthy.  Maybe Deangelo will find a new fire inside of him with another team but I'm glad he is no longer a Panther.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
