A little appreciation for...

Agreed. And another thing... While Philly didn't do a whole lot this game he had 2 good catches in traffic after the terrible preseason and no drops. The second one where he held on was a very good catch and showed good strength hanging on. I'm not ready to give up on him yet and hopefully he can improve his game to the point where he could be a solid weapon on offense. Just combine these catches with how open he was in the preseason and he's really solid. Had troubles getting open today, but I think he'll be able to put it all together.

I agree. I also wondered if Ginn, a veteran, dropping balls today didn't help him feel as if the monkey had jumped off his back onto Ginn's.

Once Funchess and Norwood start feeling it, we could be a little better at WR.  Brown, Ginn, and Cotchery are complimentary players.

He's a good guy and a hard worker. He'll fill the Ricky Proehl receiver position for us this year and we should be so glad we have him.

He's also still one of the best pass catchers in the league. Despite the opinions to the contrary, he doesn't suck just because he doesn't have wings on his feet. He never did.

For those of us at work without access to video, could someone please explain what this is?

As a matter of fact, any link should provide a synopsis of what is being linked to more thorough than "CLICK THIS LINK!"

The same douche who trashed up the Panthers in the preview video saying we were a "horrible organization" eariler in the week this time said "enjoy being atop the AFC South Panthers fans".

The NFL made him re-shoot the preview and he sounded butthurt in the recap. He's very dismissive and unprofessional, shouldn't be getting paid to do this.

Ahhh, I see.

Better to be atop the AFC South with Cam Newton than to be at the bottom of it with Andrew Luck IMO. ;)

Speed is nice to have, but hands are the most important for a receiver. Technique and precise routes can make up for speed. No amount of speed can make up for hands of stone -- ask the Raiders.

...Jerricho Cotchery, and not just for the TD.

I'm sure everyone remembers the touchdown, but you should also recognize the effort he gave bulling his way for an important first down late in the game.

For whatever you think of him, Cotchery showed up today.

yeah, the guy people bashed all offseason is our best WR by default....life is funny
