You know... when everyone is out there getting excited and walking the Aisle with their new shinny brides... His Highness "Gettlemagic" waits for the 24 year bride to go through at least a divorce or two and get all that kiddish nonsense knocked the f#4ck out and a little maturity on "What really matters" sensibility to settle in.

Not even sure people have realized were paying JARED F#$cking ALLEN $800k to play for us for a whole season... i mean godamn Getts... then he goes around shuffling the board getting rid of Cole and replacing him with youth. Even that Norwood Move was absolute Genius and holding off Luke shows... i believe in my scouting team and of course this will allow luke to rest up a bit for when we get down the stretch.

Fox is the restructuring genius of the NFL... he's the guy you bring in and he completely revamps your team... it must be PAINFUL to be a Chicago fan but they all know why he's doing what he's doing... so Gracias Johanna Foxxy ... "It is what it is."

The rest of the NFL must hate just knowing they are coming in here especially Seattle... Getts is adjusting by the second and theres nothing more beautiful than that and of course adding even more talented experienced depth for the next 4 years. Can you imagine some of the receivers we have then include the depth that we have this year on both sides of the ball.

We are going to DECIMATE SEATTLE... like it won't be even funny.

This are 2003 esque moves... and norman is that kid "Ricky Manning Jr...... "

Gentleman can smell blood. You know you have one hell of team when your team "with no wide receivers" can move the ball against Houston Texans with clowned and JJ watt in minutes.

Cam knows it and he is just balling out...

This defense will adjust and start destroying teams - piling up point after point.

I honestly can't wait for Saints to come back here and hope to pull the crap they pulled in the first couple of series and of course the Falcons... the mighty Falcons.

We have a blueprint and defense on what to expect from the falcons... we have seen it everytime we have lost while playing seattle and well crush those suckas too.

We have JARED fugiDng Allen on our team.

Fun thread.  We may beat Seattle but we can't even decimate a Saints team that is on life support. I think we are still a year or two from being dominant.

No team in the NFL is an easy win no matter what the perception of that team is. A championship caliber team makes plays when they need to, to win a game. Thats' exactly what they did against the Saints

The Patriots destroyed everyone on that historic run...and lost the big one. Winning big guarantees nothing for the next game. It certainly gives confidence and maybe even unsettles the opponent. And surely I'd rather win big but some early struggles while still winning can help galvanize a team into thinking no believing that they can overcome those obstacles.

that special teams penalty and ensuing return TD really turned the tide of that game. I think they dont threaten again if that punt is down inside the 20. Hopefully we have a healthy Luke, TD, and Daryl Williams back by then.

Meanwhile Greg Jennings has 4 catches for 39 yards and zero touchdowns and Andre Johnson has 7 catches for 51 yards and zero touchdowns. Hakeem Nicks? Ehhh don't ask.

(for perspective: Funchess has 3 catches for 38 yards, one less yard than Jennings)

Sort of off topic but man does Suh look like a huge bust, lol it is absolutely mind boggling how teams never learn from other teams mistakes, every year you have that one team that signs a huge name FA to mega bucks and they end up busting, almost without fail.

like the saying goes, a fool and his money are lucky to have gotten together in the 1st place.

    • Its really wild to watch this part of the community boil down the success of the 2025 Panthers to whether or not BY9 busts or breaks out. Ill take middle of the road mistake free game manager that distributes the ball and orchestrates the offense.  If we can get that with a D that doesnt put us in a 27 point+ hole every week the team can improve. Id love a deep post season run but honestly at this point Id be ecstatic about feeling like we could win every week.   Jake is never going to get a yellow jacket but damn if he didnt make watching the team fun.     eta: I think too many people are looking for an I told you so moment over their pre-draft "evaluation" of Bryce
    • I consider last year Bryce's rookie year.....and I expect some regression/D adjustment in his second season in Canales' O.  Film is film.   So yeah, I agree....he won't be the dude that opened up the year week 1 or closed the door week 17.  We will get some dude in between it all most likely.  Which IMO puts us in a really awkward no man's land with Bryce.
    • The question is which Bryce shows up game 1. Do we get week 2 (2024) Bryce, or week 18 (2024) Bryce?  I will say that his progression after the benching last year was amazing. He literally got better every game - sans Dallas. Like every week he did something we hadn't seen him do before. And it wasn't luck, toss it up for grabs plays like Penix did against Carolina. Penix was just throwing the ball as hard as he could in the direction of a receiver and hoping they'd make a play for him. What we saw from Bryce was different. Decision making, reading defenses, recognizing blitzes and where they were coming from, knowing his hot, avoiding pressure and manipulating the pocket, throwing with anticipation, taking shots downfield, and running the ball surprisingly well. Stats don't always tell the story. Did he miss some throws that he should have made - sure did. But the clutch gene is strong with this one. One score game and Carolina has the ball with 2 minutes on the clock - I'm confident he'll give them a chance to win more than he doesn't.
