You act like all views just disappear when you walk into an NFL stadium. They don't. You're sharing that stadium space with liberals, conservatives, racists, homophobes, gays, transgenders, Asians, white people, black people, Hispanic people, socialists, libertarians, etc. And some are more vocal about their opinions than others. You can't just expect to go to a football game and not have anybody espouse any of their views. It's just not practical.

Wrong.  Sports are everyones escape from the bullshit going on in the world for a few hours.

They used the American right to protest and caused people to be endangered, displaced from their seats, and having their experience disrupted.

Now they'll face the American criminal justice system and their group will face the American class action lawsuit from the people they endangered and disrupted. Btw, Homeland Security will be up their azz now, since they're in charge of security for 74,000+ people at national sporting events like Monday Night Football.

Homeland security does not give two poos about this because most people who work there are adults and don't cry about crap that doesn't matter.

There's a thing called an ad in a newspaper or buy radio or tv time. It was typical selfish misguided naive buffoons who are more about bringing attention to themselves than a cause. Fracking?  Seriously?  Yeah, nobody has ever heard of that.

Now they can boast to their hemp clothing buddies while having a gluten free beer and eating sustainably raised salmon they are fighting the man.

Lol

I am 100% behind people who do such things. I happen to agree with them. I've changed from a conservative poo head to a damn near anarchist liberal in 10 years though.

This was a page from the Green Peace protests I just happened to randomly run in to in Portland this August. I used to despise such things and now they make me realize there is hope in the world but not much.

    • I wouldn’t disagree with that.
    • I would say the fact that Dave Canales insisted on a 6 year contract should tell anyone all they need to know about his potential job security under the Tepper's. No matter how much we have heard recently about how David Tepper has learned from this and that. This is still the same man who spent $43.5 million to buy and then immediately demolish a house because of who owned it previously.
    • Same lineup to hopefully finish this one out tonight.  Here's today's projected lineup from the Hurricane's official website:   Tonight's Projected Lineup... Forwards Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Hall - Stankoven - Blake Ehlers - Staal - Martinook Carrier - Jankowski - Robinson Defense Slavin - Chatfield Miller - Walker Gostisbehere - Nikishin Starting Goaltender Andersen --- Injuries N/A Scratches Nicolas Deslauriers Pyotr Kochetkov Jesperi Kotkaniemi Mike Reilly --- PP1: Aho, Ehlers (Staal), Jarvis, and Svechnikov with Gostisbehere PP2: Blake, Hall, Jankowski, and Stankoven with Miller I'm getting to the point to where I have to get away from social media.  The narrative is still in some circles that Carolina has played no one.  I just don't see how you can continue to discount what our opponents in the playoffs have done, either to make it to the playoffs or the clubs they beat to faceoff against us.  I know this is how Carolina always get's treated, but if we win tonight our record is 12-1 in the playoffs. 12-1!  Meanwhile, along the way the "talking heads" had us losing in every round.  Maybe, just maybe, Carolina's just that damn good. /rant Here's to kickin azz and taking names tonight. LET'S GO CANES!!
