Cam's completion percentage is mid 60's without the insane drop numbers our receivers have, but, you know... he's inaccurate.

Saw that too this morning. Would like some comparable numbers to give context. Yeah, those numbers sound bad (and probably are) but would like to know the #s of another #1 and then a similar player to Ted or another rookie to compare to Funch. Food for thought.

They both seem to drop the easy ones and make the harder catches.

For the hundredth time Cam's not going to underhanded granny shot the passes to his receivers. He puts touch on the passes when needed most of the time. When he needs to rocket passes in there, receivers need to catch it.  Sometimes rocket passes are necessary.  He's uneccessarily rocketed passes a couple times, but receivers are supposed to catch those too when they hit them in the hands.  

This trying to blame Cam being too strong or not floating passes to receivers on a fuging cloud is gd annoying. I can understand young receivers not running great routes or getting confused, but catching passes that hit them in the hands doesn't change from peewee to high school to college to the pros.  Ginn has always had drop issues, it's just part of his limitations and why he's not considered a very good WR.  He does better with us than he ever did with the noodle arms in Miami, Arizona or SF.  So that means it's not Cam's manliness overwhelming him causing his drops.

Did you miss the easy ass drops Ted Ginn had last night? Two were straighted floated into his hands and he dropped them. And he doesn't even drop the lasers much either.

Drops stats online has the Panthers at 11 drops on 216 targets. 1 drop every 19 throws basically.

Basically Cam would be right at his completion career average if the drops were added back into his completion percentage this year. 59-60%

It's worth mentioning that not every play a receiver should make and doesn't, counts as a drop.  So it's really hard to gauge completely.
