A rivalry

Rivalry is a bit of a reach here.  We don't play GB enough to have one and, quite honestly, have little to no reason to hate GB or their fans.  I mean, how serious can you really take someone who's wearing a hunk of cheese on their head?  You gotta feel sorry for them if anything.

No but he has 1 more Lombardi then Cam :)

Should have started the trophy at Right Tackle. Would've done a better job of blocking our D-Linemen than Bulaga.

Friendly advice for next year's game, since your defense in your words, sucks, and you probably won't make the playoffs.

Edit: We're playing the NFC West next year, not the North. So we won't even see you next year since Minnesota's gonna win the North. And it can't really become a rivalry if you can't make it to the playoffs, can it?

Congrats on winning the Super Bowl 5 years ago. You've been the most overhyped team in the league every year since then. You Packer fans are great at living in the past.

Yea I don't think we hate the Packers. Fans or the team. Packers are one of the most universally respected teams in the league outside of the NFCN.  And I really don't see us losing that #1 seed :). We'd have to lose at least 3 games (who's gonna beat us?  I can see maybe dropping a letdown game, maybe two, but THREE? Nah) and GB would have to run the table.  NFCC in Charlotte yes please

You guys think this sign thing has caused a rivalry to develop with us. I know you guys hate us already like the Cowboys, Saints and Atlanta but I really think this was a playoff preview. Now the sign will be remembered by both teams as motivation next time we play in the playoffs. Hopefully we meet in the Championship game in GB. I think we would matchup better at home. We're a totally different road team. You guys have a great team. Hope to see you again this year.

All them flavors, and U chose SALTY

I think the OP has missed the point, we are a relatively new and a small market team that has literally has no national respect, our issue is with Packer fans in Carolinas- these are our rivals, for now, if we meet GB in the playoffs it may start a rivalry but as far as teams-SEA is more of a rival than GB, we have a history with those guys.

I'm sure Packers can relate when Vikings fans display the state of wisconsin with  "Vikings" country in your endzone. Or when Favre left for MN- how did that go down in dairy country? Yeah, that's how we feel about Carolina packers fans...

Seattle is up there as well now. I really hope we don't see them in the playoffs

This.  Right now the biggest non-divisional rival is Seattle.  We have played like 5 times in 4 seasons and both teams are so similarly constructed.

I think (hope) we will play both GB and Seattle again next season as division winners so somthing may be brewing there, and an epic playoff match up could push it over the edge.

But for now, I have to say Seattle is our biggest rivalry outside if our own division.  We just dont seem to like each other.

Note:  not saying Seattle is better, just saying a bigger rivalry for Carolina fans
