Hall played about a third of the snaps for the Redskins on Sunday, his first game back from a toe injury that had sidelined him for more than a month.

He looked confused on the opening sequences, but settled into his new position after that

It’s different than playing the spot full-time, though it could ease into such a situation. Hall is a smart player, but would need to adjust to playing much different angles, especially against the run. For now, though, they just need him to perform against the pass. Hall had been working as a safety on scout team.

Let's get back to discussing football. I hope there's a lot of Cam dancing on Sunday but it'll take football to get to it.

We have played Hall before many times with the Falcons & Washington. He's never been known as a clean player. It always seemed to be Steve Smith's assignment to piss off Hall so his play was affected & it seemed to work more often than not. He was on the field only for obvious pass plays against the Saints , finished with 2 tackles.

Will Hall moving to safety make a difference? These articles also indicate that they are getting healthy, at least they think so. How will Cam & Shula attack this 'healthy' secondary? Will the middle of the field be our playground?

By far my favorite Hall moment...

was years ago on 3rd down and we needed just a first down to win the game b/c Washington was out of timeouts. Fail and Washington has a chance to win the game.

greatest worst call ever....a naked bootleg with Jake Delhomme who was one on one with Hall.  Jake juked and drug him 5 yards for a first

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
