Running back Predictions

So with Stewart out who do you all see leading the running backs this week? In the mix are CAP, Fozzy and Tolbert and possibly even Wegher if Colin Jones is out since Mayo is out and we'll be thin on ST. I really believe CAP will get opportunities early and will run away with it. Think Fozzy will get the start and CAP will come in fairly soon and take his first couple carries for 20-30 yards and just keep running from there. Tolbert will likely have his regular role. Doubt even if Wegher's active he'll see any snaps outside of ST but would be pretty awesome to see him get some offensive touches. Will be really interesting to see what happens. Feelin' CAP ends up with 20+ carries for 100 and maybe a TD, Tolbert 5ish carries for 20-30 yard and a few catches for similar yards and a TD, and Fozzy with about 5-6 carries for 20 yards.

If CAP struggles in pass pro he will be on the bench fast as poo.

i know most ppl think fozzy is a little guy but he made some massive blocks in preseason and did his thing when he was out there in season. Keeping Cam upright is huge.

Honestly i think it will be fozzy and Tolbert and we air the poo out of the ball. But of course I would love to see CAP play well running and pass pro.

The huddle has a hard on for CAP, I'm almost willing to bet he doesn't get more than 5 carries.

Fozzy is a homerun threat, I can see him having a big run. I think he takes a screen pass for a td

If Fozzy is going to be on the field more, Shula better bring his A-game when it comes to screens. No reason not to run them all day long if Fozzy is featured, especially with how well our line pulls and blocks in space.

The huddle thinks CAP sucks. That's about as accurate as your statement.

Unless he fumbles, or fails at pass blocking, he'll get his shot on Sunday even if Fozzy plays well. If you're not gonna give him a good look with Stewart out, no point in even having him active.

You know Fozzy is itching to show what he can do. He only has 18 rushing attempts this season, and last year his total was under 150 yards. I wish they'd given him more carries this season, for a change of pace if nothing else.

    • The receivers got little separation, the receivers also ran wrong  routes in the same area at least once and of course xL being his usual self.   the oline was not top notch, in either run or pass pro the defense had moments  their stats ion 3rd down, really bad and stupid penalties   The defense had 4 chances at turnovers and missed them all  the offensive game  plan and its execution was as flawed as always  and did not work the middle of the field and per Jonathan Stewart, that is how to attack that seattle defense .   add it all up, they weren't winning that game particularly with Bryce as the leader of that orchestra offensively  the problem is it has to be perfect for Young  and he has to have short  fields   That is mot going to happen consistently  I dont know what the future holds for this team but i just do not see the play calling and execution from that offense with the canales idzik young marriage  being productive against better coaches and teams  a whole lot of draft choices and money  spent  on the offensive side of the ball   It is not working out and had Dowdle not been super man in games 5 and 6, no chance on this season  I hope they win  sunday and make the playoffs  it is good thing for many reasons  it will also be a spotlight…either young can play in big  moments or he cant, same for Canales and the rest of the players
    • Dude you wanted him with with #6 overall lol. Yes he's obviously better than Corral, I'd 1000% take him over brycey....   And I'd love to see us aquire him or Sam Howell in the offseason.
