He shoulda have caught it but Newton could have led him way better, not the worst drop he's had

It was a perfect pass. I was just commenting on how a dropped TD pass is normal for Ginn but not too worried knowing that Cam will get it in the endzone no matter what.

All his sure TD drops this year have driven me Ginnsane, but he has proven to be a clutch target and I like how Cam keeps looking his way.

During the Falcons game, Ginn actually turned his body and went up with his hands to catch the ball.  Most of his drops have been over-the-shoulder basket catches.  Honestly, I thought he and Ricky had figured it out.  Ginn is already dangerous.  When he gets this fixed so he is consistently making that catch ... look out.  The field will get even bigger for our other WRs.

2015 Cotchery reminds me of 2003 proehl.  I could totally see him catching a playoff (or sb) winning td.

We may not have a clear #1 wr but ginn, funchess, philly, and cotchery are all solid and I am so glad to have them.

Our wr core is deeper this year than last going into the playoffs.

Says a lot about Cam when he went directly back to Ginn after that dropped catch, and Ginn caught that one. Keeping Ginns confidence up is a good move.

Seems like ginn always gets a first down catch after he drops one.  He gets open on the deep ball apl the time too.  Youve gotta keep going to that as he catches enough of them.  Just dont go to ginn on a deep ball on a big 3rd or 4th and short.

The ball was in his belly/between his legs as he was facing it square on. Not sore how much better you wanted it than that.

Aikman, was foolish to point out which way he turned, if that's what you're going off of. It was a blatant miss anyway you slice it.

I didn't see the tv broadcast, I was flying. I'm going off the radio announcers mentioning it was under thrown, along with Ginn being wide open but the corner had plenty room to catch up. Not a big deal but I wish Newton could have led him better. It'd be a tough throw but Newton is held to high standards. No biggie.

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
