It's not gonna "go away" so easily for Beckham.

The post MNF crew rightly pointed out that Beckham showed the entire NFL his Achilles heel with that embarrassing display. Now, every defense he faces from here on out is going to go after him just like Norman did.

The Giants are likely hoping he handles it better in future games than he did in this one.

Just take the 1 game suspension for a hit that is premeditated criminal assault and be done with it. Odell is getting off easy. Other athletes have gone to court for what he did and been convicted while getting tossed from the league for an entire season.

Odell Beckham Jr will be known from hereafter as Odell McSorely.

Stupid millennials.

It's always all about how "the world is against me", not how "let me rise above this and prove with my skills that I'm a better person".

OBJ likely has a room full of participation ribbons at home.  Even that one on the wall from that time he was sick and couldn't go to school that day to play kickball, but since everyone else got one his mom complained to the school and convinced the gym teacher that everyone in the class should get one because it would hurt OBJ's feelings for being the only kid who didn't get a ribbon that day.

Wah wah wah.

LOL @ Beckham being so hurt and intimidated by some words before the game.  What a mentally weak individual he is.  I mean really....he hasnt heard people talk poo before a game?  He was THAT upset by what was said to him that he acted like he did????  Talk about a weak minded little bitch.  I imagine whatever slur was thrown at Adele Beckham is rightfully deserved....sounds like they were telling the truth to me.

Lots of advertising dollars potentially going down the drain.  Don't be surprised at anything said to make the guy look marketable again.  Racism, homophobic language and women could all be brought into the discussion just to see if he can be made out the "defender" of someone, rather than a temperamental brat, who got beaten badly on the football field

This has gotten beyond ridiculous.  I don't care if Josh Norman showed him pictures of his boyfriend and threatened to rape his mother.  Players have been saying stuff to get under each others' skins since the game was invented, and they've taken cheap shots to get into each others' heads for just as long.  How much have we laughed at DeAngelo Hall getting owned by Smitty in the past?

Hell, if Norman was able to get OBJ to act like that with a homophobic slur, more power to him.  His job was to get OBJ shut down, and he did.  And now every other CB in the league is going to try and follow suit.  And the longer the Giants or the NY Media try and spin it as somehow justified, the longer fans around the league are going to think about OBJ launching his helmet at Norman's head and all the punches he threw.

In the meantime, I expect the Panthers to just keep pounding.

Odell just did the biggest no no you can in this league. The NFL is like the mafia and he didn't keep trash talk in house and he tried to injure a fellow player. He went to the media and cried. He will be known as the biggest bitch in the league until he plays his last game.

Snitch bitches get stitches.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
