Funny. Last I saw here it was overturned. I had moved on until Rappaport just sain on WFNZ that he had heard nothing about the ruling but would be shocked if it was overturned. Are people following fake versions of sources on Twitter?

Afraid so.

Just imagine if these jokers made the playoffs somehow and we got to play em again. I would be all in favor of having the Ball kid pounding the drum.

NFL will ban the drum on the field as it will scare and make their $uperstar Beckham feel threatened

Man, OBJ is a btch. Couldn't handle his emotions, did something he shouldn't have did, and instead of taking his punishment like a man, he hides behind Deion, Lewis, Dilfer, etc...and uses them and the rest of the media to help get him out of trouble. No accountability at all. The rap on Odell was he was a spoiled suburban kid from New Orleans. That's exactly right. He's a spoiled brat, and when things don't go his way, he doesn't know how to handle it and loses control like a brat. The NFL is a no fun league in parts, due to people like Odell. Watch the taunting rule be expanded because of this. You can bet, refs will start flagging the trash talk...talk that goes on in sports and has been going on for lord knows how long.

Deion, Ray, and Trent are no better. They'll be complaining about how the NFL is soft and yadda yadda ya. Well, they helped it become this way with crap like this. If Deion and Ray really wanted to help OBJ out, they would've told him to man up, and you can't react the way you did due to someone saying something to you. People talk and you shut them up with your play on the field. Besides, the only reason Deion is doing what he's doing is because his ego is bruised since Norman never responded to him.

I've come to believe the reports are correct, that it has been overturned.

If it had been upheld, they'd have already said so.

The time its taking at this point is the spin-control they're trying to come up with.  Except that's not gonna help them.  The non-NY media is going to gorge themselves on the body of the NFL's "concussion" hypocrisy.

Edit: I guess I was wrong.  I guess they feared revealing their concussion hypocrisy more.

    • I get what you are saying. I'm just saying we made it to the win, we should have a bit of class and not dogpile on the QB because his stat line wasn't great. His stat lines weren't great for almost his entire pro career, but this time, we got a win. Give him a breather.  The team cleared the bar. In the end, that's all that matters. Do it enough times and well, good things happen.  We've shat the bed enough times with good-ish QB play. It's not like we've been regularly to the playoffs even with our best performing QBs over the years. Heck, Matt Stafford was a helluva QB in Detroit for a long time with nothing to show for it. Steve Bartowski was a great QB back in the day, but in 20 years of watching I saw one playoff game for the Falcons. Heck, even Dan Marino spent most of his illustrious career on a lousy Dolphins team.  And yet, Tampa's first Superbowl ring was with the esteemed Trent Dilfer at the helm. Sometimes it goes like that.
    • I don't care what they tell me. Its what they actually do that matters. Coaches and GM's say crap all the time to keep fan interest. They are always trying to sell you something.
    • But you have to separate the 2 things in order to move forward.  Its okay to enjoy winning and its also okay to be critical of what is happening.  Coaches do it why cant we?   Also they have to be thinking next off season, next year all in real time.  They are applying what is working, where help is needed and how to get better and make plans for that.   I am weirdly confident that Dan and Dave are seeing what we are seeing and will adjust.   The wildcard however are the teppers
