Hawks Fans are mad RW isn't MVP

I realized some time ago that the bullshit and disrespect that Cam is facing is what historically happens during a paradigm shift.  Galileo was poo on.  Copernicus, Bruno, Descartes, Newton (Sir Isaac), Halley, Darwin, Hubble, Bertrand Russell.  The list is endless, and spans a large range of disciplines (military science, science, etc). Cam Newton is the paradigm shift.  Consider the MVP award the only "mea culpa" that the naysayers and doubters in the media will offer.  It's sad that a lot of these idiots refuse to embrace greatness; I'm not sure even the Lombardi Trophy will change that.

I get they are mad, which is fine.  Getting mad at something they can't control and doesn't change their win/loss record is dumb.

Fact is, the Media loves Wilson because he fits more into the "traditional QB Leader" archetype.  Cam is a whole 'nother beast (literally).  Cam can navigate the media as well as anyone, has the million dollar smile to go with his incredibly handsome self.  He has also carried our team through most of their wins.  Early on, the D was much stouter, and was able to save our butts (like the first NO game with Norman's game winning interception).  After the first month, it was the Cam show.  While Wilson has played really well, he's has 100 yard rushers and his defense continuing to make his job easier.

Consider this, Seattle has exactly ONE win where the other team scored more than 20 points...ONE...  What does that tell you?  Sure, Wilson is extremely accurate, but he's had very good defensive showings to give him the opportunity to throw all those TDs.  So if Wilson wants to win the MVP next year, he needs to have the best record in the league, but he also needs to elevate the rest of his team.  He is already part of an excellent team.  Cam is the heart of our team.

Cam's rushing first downs are by far this most unacknowledged and disregarded part of his game.

Only 3 NFL RBs converted more first downs on the ground than Cam.  Never mentioned by anyone.  Ever.  Local or national.

Why Cam's game is never fully respected.  People will go on and on about completion % where other QBs pad stats with dump offs.  They totally ignore that Cam is literally is own built in elite RB (which is more than TDs and goal line dives)

I'll take it further than even that.  That, as important and ignored as it is, is still something tangible, and something people could see (if they wanted to) with their eyeballs.  What does NOT show is the intangible, soul crushing nature of such runs on the human beings trying to stop him.

Wilson was great this year, but Cam has no one on offense (or at least far less weapons than many top tier QB's) and won 15 of 16.  He's the MVP going away.  The only guy I'd have considered along with Cam is Carson Palmer and Sunday basically slammed that door shut.

A good number of them are starting to get insufferable. They despise the fact that Newton is gonna win MVP and that Norman is a DPOY candidate. In fact, anything Panthers-related is negative. Talk about an inferiority complex. I'm done chatting with them for awhile.

change that to be about Panthers fans and it would be just as appropriate..

I would say that RW can come over to cam's house to see the trophy, but cam will probably keep it on a shelf above RW's eye level.

That would make a funny meme too..

1. Drops

2. Because my QB is better than your QB because he's my QB

3. Madden

4. Seachickens

This is what is on my mind. It makes no sense. However, it makes as much sense as any seachicken "fan". Hope they get stomped by Teddy Football.
