In other news, Sean Payton's scheduled 2pm presser just got pushed back an hour.

Wonder if something's happening down there.

Just reported that he is staying at least for now. No coaching changes in the NFCS at the moment.

Hell yea...I was thinking this last night. Like besides KR what does Fozzy do better then CAP?

Foozy time might be up be up after this season.

He don't ever return any kickoffs.   Webb runs more out of the end zone than Fozzy. He's real good taking a knee 2 feet inside the goal line --ball on the 20 he might as well let the kick bounce thru the back of end zone.

We could stick a 5  gallon bucket back there in his place.

In  the 2nd half of one of our games the team ( which I can't remember who It was at this moment ) started kicking short where fozzy had to return the KOs. On several he didn't make it back to the 20 he's not a real threat back there.

CAP deserves the jersey

Imagine this as a defense, in the 4th quarter, after Stew has 17-20 carries already and our offense clicking as it has been, with our offense getting the ball at the 20 to start the drive

4 yard run with Stew.
5 yard pass outside.
3 yard rush with Cam.
Deep shot for 25.
3 yard run with Stew.
5 yard run with stew
3 yard run with Tolbert
15 yard pass
8 yard pass.
3 yard run with Stew

By this point, it's 4th quarter and we're wearing out that defense. Having to run a lot and hit big guys like Stew, Tolbert, and Cam. Takes a lot out of you.

In comes CAP. Now you have strength and quickness unlike the other big bodies you've been tackling. Your knees are already getting a bit wobbly.

Good luck.

Fozzy is good from time to time, but I feel like CAP has more upside. If we keep Fozzy, Wegher is gone, and he hasn't been given a fair shake. So, since Fozzy is ultimately somebody we can afford to lose...bye Fozzy.

Ron Rivera says Lou Young is one of the guys who stays after practice working with Josh Norman every day.

If you follow the Panthers on snapchat, they often show Young and Norman battling each other trying to grab a jump ball thrown by a coach. His work ethic is legit.

Props to Norman for staying after practice to help Lou Young improve his game.  I love it when vets go out of their way to help younger players develop.  We're so lucky to have such good teammates on our squad.

I remember before we played the Vikings in 2014 Norman talked to the press about how he felt Munnerlyn would never do any of that with him and that there wasn't the best relations when they were both there in the earlier years. Just interesting to note really
