As a cardinals fan I love this matchup. i think it will be huge for us. for the panthers they must and have to get pressure with there Front 4.

With Fitz, JJ, and Smokey y'alls Wrs are probably the best/most overlooked corps in the league.

We play a lot of zone guys, it's a two edge sword, before we had very good CB's now...eh..besides norman, the other guys are probably around average. Which isn't bad and yet isn't good. The key will be pressure. Don't give Palmer enough time in the pocket. He is notorious for finding the soft spot in the zones. I've been watching him all year since my bro is a Cards fan and we live right next to AZ. Pressure up the middle is the best bet, collapse the pocket after. Rattle him enough and he will begin to hesitate.

I think we should jam the receivers a little to throw the timing off just enough to get to him. Fitz and brown are their best route runners to be quite honest. Depending on the package, either the one of the D lines or a safety will have to keep an eye on Johnson. He's got a quick burst of speed and can get chunks of yardage if left open for the dump off pass from Palmer. That's how they've converted a lot of their 3rd downs. Simple check downs and good route running by Brown and Fitz.

We won't win the game by changing how our defense plays.

We also won't win the game if we don't get any pressure from our front four. Considering how well Green Bay did, we might have a pretty good shot at doing just that. It's about time we really had a break out game from our DEs.

Just be ready for the excuses when we beat them.

It was cold. It was too dark. Palmers finger. The field was real grass. Arians lost his lucky Kangol. SCP crop dusted us.

Who knows what they'll blame it on.

We play on real grass too. palmers finger will be fine. Arians is not allowed to wear his Lucky Kangol on game day. but pfft that damn SCP will probably crop dust us.

Haha.  He crop dusts everyone.  I doubt you guys would actually make excuses though.  You're not pretentious like the Seattle fans

People are way to worried about Fitzgerald.  Not saying he isn't good and a threat..

but people are aware basically the entire 2nd half of the season it been the two other WRs killin folks, right?

More worried about Brown or Floyd vs McClain deep.

Should be able to contain Larry IMO in his role.  I mean if you don't cover him in OT and give him 30 yard head full of steam....he will hurt you bad.

since im a cardinals fan and have watched everyone of there games at least twice this season I can say you are correct. only thing is there is something about Fitz and the playoffs.

After watching the replay of GB vs AZ, I noticed Palmer with no RB standing back in shotgun and AZ sending 4 WRs and the TE out in passing routes.....if they leave Palmer unprotected like that, we have to make him pay.  Pressure, pressure, and more pressure......our Super Bowl depends on it.

    • Personally I think he's a nightmare to cover I think linebackers generally aren't fast enough to keep up with him in coverage and cornerbacks don't have the strength to tackle him one-on-one in physically bring them down which would normally lead to a broken tackle or a nasty stiff arm or just bully ball play sure you could find a receiver with comparable speed like Cooper but he's faster than Cooper sure you can find a wide receiver that is the same size but he's probably More powerful than them and a better blocker.  The size speed athleticism package that he is in is completely unique it's easier to say I'd rather have just a big blocker because we've never seen this type of profile before I'm a risk taker I think you would be God blessed if this was there at 19 I think if you can get a guy that's a tight end who immediately becomes the fastest guy on your offense and at the same time that third wide receiver that can stretch and burn defenses over the top that's the perfect what the Panthers need type weapon.
    • I think you're under selling Sadiq. They are two different players in terms of how they win. Loveland is 2 inches taller maybe 5-6 pounds heavier. Comparing his speed to sadiq.. well your comparing a 4.7 guy to a 4.3 guy I'm seeing a guy that can take a bubble screen from the tight end position and turn it into a house call. I'm not saying the guy is a certified home run pick but I don't think there's really a president's for a comparison for this kind of athlete. It's easy to say this doesn't look like Warren or Loveland because we haven't seen guys that fit this profile The closest you might be able to get is Vernon Davis.  He's not as sure far as those guys were but at 19 I think almost everybody is going to have some warts and he's a lottery ticket of could be top 10 in the draft player or could fail I am more of a risk taker I think he fits the athletic profile that could be a homerun, like I said he's almost 40 lb bigger than Cooper and like 4-5 in taller than Cooper so and he's faster. So whatever you think Cooper gives you I think he does that and more. If you want to go with one of the office alignment I can understand that as well but for value as a receiving threat I don't think there's a bigger value at number 19.
    • I’ve haven’t seen anything that says we have interest in Njoku?
