After Rematching the Game and Highlights... Cardinals have no idea what they are walking into

Panthers just made the seahawks look like Jaguars ... SEA HAWKS looked confused and had to claw back and try to recapture some magic.

Seahawks were having "Conversations on the sideline (which is a typical occurrence this year)" trying to figure out how to just make sure they didn't get shut out. :)

Cardinals are bring in "Jake Delhomme" and "A taller steve smith" here and a defense that doesn't have Badger to disguise their weaknesses.

Russel is one HELL of a quarterback which is something we know over the last 4 years... but  Seahawks couldn't stop Cam from texting and face timing his son back there thanks to that offensive line.

Cardinals will get DESTROYED but... as usual lets sit back and enjoy watching jerry pour some ketchup and walking straight into Toms mouth.

I heard on Fox sports radio that Bruce will be watching only second half film, so to see how the Seahawks shut down Cam in the second half...

Yes, that's what everybody will remember, how the Seahawks really won that game.

Maybe this was our ploy all along. Shell up so the cards could not see our whole game plan!!

Were they serious about only watching second half film? That would be a huge mistake on their part. The Carolina Panthers coaches are the ones that shut down Cam and allowed yards to the offense.

I highly doubt Arians thinks the second half of games matter after you have been blown out in the the first half.

He sounded like he was serious. And all I could think, yeah, just watch the second half. Nevermind it was the Panthers that shut down, not a furious comeback by the Seahawks that made it close in score only.

Yeah, he said furious comeback too.

I think it was Tom Looney (sp?) or his co-host.

I'm confident that we are the better team, but Arizona is not the joke you guys make them to be.

Who said anything about Arizona being a joke.  They are a legitimate team and we'll be ready for them.  I think this is more about how they perceive us.    Anyone who looks at the 2nd half only is in for a wide awakening.

I am going to make a rare prediction.  Carolina will break the 40 year old record of most game with 100 yds rushing.

Thats exactly what I was thinking might have happened, it has crossed my mind.  I use MIGHT carefully, because of course, I simply don't know.  If so, Rivera is a mastermind and is setting them up for a whooping on Sunday evening, when the real playbook is revealed.  I don't think that they can actually learn much from the 2nd half, we were in prevent and protect for the whole half.  The first half is where it gets real.  But go ahead Arians, by all means focus on the 2nd half of that game :)

Yeah, it was a combination of the Panthers shutting themselves down and Russell Wilson making those insane miraculous plays he gets sometimes.... Which I don't think Carson Palmer is capable of.

I was kind of worried about Arizona, but if that's seriously the game plan I'm feeling good about the game. Unfortunately, I suspect Arians is too smart for that to be true (he's also a known liar with regards to this kind of stuff).

I re-watched both games yesterday. On second viewing, our second half didn't seem to be as bad as I initially thought...we seemed to still be in control of the game. Arizona also struggled more against Green Bay more than I first thought. Palmer seriously should have had 5 interceptions and Green Bay should have won that game.

    • okay I found this and it sounds like my hopes for the first surgery being not such a great job seems like it could be actual reality.  I only hoped because that would give a better chance for recovery and ia a possible scenario so I just thought it could be possible. Had no real evidence of it. But I’ll be damned.    This is a detailed report of Brooks’ surgery and the condition of his knee after the failed repair.     https://x.com/jmthrivept/status/2055743129408704806?s= Sparked by some very good questions by @CoachspeakIndex, here’s some info on Jonathon Brooks: 1. Speculation that the first graft/ACLR by Dr. Cooper didn’t “take” or at least was too lax, leading to failure and re-tear. Brooks dealt with issues cutting, progressing in his rehab into the early stages of 2024 and then re-tore it late 2024, requiring a second ACLR in January 2025 (essentially revision). Notably, CAR prolonged Brooks’ rehab process through Sept-Oct due to issues progressing into the next stages of rehab. 2. Second surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has extensive experience with revisions. He did a double bundle technique, harvesting graft from Brooks’ left patellar tendon and a strip of his right IT Band (his right patellar tendon had been utilized for the prior graft in 2023. The double bundle technique significantly increases rotational stability of the knee, leading to a stronger and more secure graft/reconstruction. Also to note, Brooks’ surgery wasn’t significantly delayed, meaning that the tunnels from his prior ACLR were in good shape and they didn’t need to perform bone grafts to fill in (would have delayed 2nd surgery by 5-6 months). Essentially, reading the tea leaves tells me that everything else except for the graft itself was still in good quality within his knee. Good sign for future.  3. Typically, you see a performance increase anywhere from 16-20 months post-revision. Brooks will be ~21 months out from his second surgery by the time Week 1 hits. His knee should be more stable and stronger this time around, with adequate time for healing and return to all movement patterns. I’m not viewing this situation as a typical “Player __ had TWO ACL tears, he’s cooked” situation. Rather, I’m viewing it as the first procedure failed, but the second procedure is significantly stronger and should allow him to return to form this time around. I don’t know why it posted as a link but there it is.
    • Jackie, any more reps tomorrow, or is that it for this session?  thanks for the work
    • How can you say they aren’t trying to win now with all the moves made in free agency? Or is trading first round picks the only way to be win now? I’d be fine never trading another first round pick again, win now be damned.
