Kurt Coleman: "We don't notice pressure"

“We’ve been built all season to withstand everything,” Coleman said. “You go on a fourteen-game [winning] streak that’s not easy. There’s a lot of pressure that comes with that and we haven’t even just noticed the pressure because we’re worried about ourselves. We’re worried about getting better each and every week and that’s really been the motto throughout the season is find a way to get better.”

Kurt Coleman has been such a great pickup for us. Who saw that coming?

One of the drumbeats we kept hearing when people were predicting the Panthers would fold in the playoffs was "all of the pressure is on them". This goes to show just how ridiculously off base that whole idea was.

2 year deal...

Learned from his Mike Mitchell mistake. Amazing. Plus side is Coleman is better than Mitchell in this defense. Just awesome...id almost bet my next check he picks Manning off next week at least once.

Lets extend him for another 2 years this offseason. He has earned it and wants to be here. What a great find.

After seeing how the team played in the NFCCG, how intense the whole team was, you just know they are going to be jacked up for the SB.  I am so amped for that game.  I'm usually a little reserved when a game is coming up, jsut hoping that the Panthers will win.  But for some reason, I am confident the Cats will win.

The only ones that can beat them is themselves. I just don't think that will happen.

And, yeah, Coleman has been an excellent signing.

I was laughing when media was picking the Seahawks to win because 'the pressure is all on Carolina.' Like, what? How is that a thing? Do the Seahawks not feel any pressure because they don't care? Maybe if they felt some pressure they wouldn't have gone down 31-0.

Agree with you word for word.

I haven't been this excited and confident for a game since week 1.

To further that, the pressure is on the Denver D to deliver Payton his walkoff Championship.  Let's be honest, in the next week, that angle is only going to grow.

I love Payton's body of work, but not this time!

The pressure is all on Denver.  According to the so called experts Carolina shouldn't even be here, at least that was the sentiment leading up to last Sunday.   The pressure is on Denver's defence to stop Carolina from steam rolling them like almost every team has been since around mid season.  The pressure is on Denver's offense to keep up with Cam and the gang.   Carolina can just out there a play lights out football just like they have been all seasn.

KEEP POUNDING!!!

    • Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.
    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
