Smitty on Dan Patrick Show

LUUUUUKE

Beyond the DP Show, we have been getting crazy love from the media. The Broncos are literally an afterthought. Now, Cam's race comment has had influence, but it's not like everybody is addressing that. We are generally just shutting out the Broncos' media attention.

He also said he'd rather play for Cam in his prime than Peyton in his prime.

Hmm that's a tough one. Obviously looking back Peyton only won one Super Bowl, but he's probably the best regular season quarterback of all-time.

Smith would probably have top 5 WR numbers with Peyton in his prime.

Steve Smith in his prime with either Peyton/Cam in his prime would be nuts.

he didn't seem to have too many holes in him when he was insulting our team, after the Ravens spanked our ass.

Yep, Smith knows he made his bed.  He's a big boy.  I'm sure there is a part of him wishing he would have played nicer here, but then his EGO will squash that.  I still have much love for Steve Smith, but his time with us was done.  I hope he has a great send off season next year, but we've become a better team since his departure.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
