The thing is, it isn't just them-some of the cronies on the Dan Patrick show this morning have already gotten the "there's no way they'll make it back" train started. 

 

We have absolutely exposed the amateur level quality of football savvy these media types actually posess this season and there has been a bitter backlash against us for doing so.

I don't usually say things like this, but  phuck Florio, and especially Harrison! I am tired of their mental monkey bar type of reasoning as it pertains to the Panthers. Why not just be men and admit that you were plain wrong? 

I have no respect for their analysis from this day forward, and I won't be hitting on any more of their links. It's way past time for them to admit that they fuged up.

Yeh, the Panthers aren't that good... we were only 15-1, the top scoring offense and the 6th ranked defense...

I'm ok with the Panthers being not that good.

I hate this emphasis on receivers as the benchmark for a good team.  The great receivers in the league have no rings.

The people who want to discredit us will continue to invent reasons.  Prior to the playoffs, they were all saying that the Seahawks were the hottest team in the NFC and the Cardinals were the best team in the NFC.  We beat them both.  However, according to those idiots, we only beat the Seahawks due to turf conditions (even though both teams were playing on the same field) and we only beat the Cards because of Palmer's finger issue that he'd been playing with for several weeks.  After we beat the Broncos, they'll say it's only because Peyton Manning is old and over the hill.  Meanwhile, we'll be 18-1 Super Bowl champs and they can eat a dick.

Harrison is just pissed we are about to be the right 18-1 versus his Pats team who had the wrong 18-1. Calling him a clown would be an insult to clowns everywhere.

Rodney Harrison learned to sign his checks 'Panthers Doubter' this season, don't take anything he says at face value. In the beginning I believe he may have felt some of these things, but now it's just his 'role' on television.
