it's Walter Football.....ignore the opinion, enjoy the facts.

Team Needs:

  1. Two Offensive Tackles: Michael Oher and Mike Remmers were never really challenged throughout the season, as the Panthers somehow avoided all the teams with the best pass rushes.

That is simply absurd, considering that we played:

Houston (#5 in sacks and 6th best adjusted sack rate for its defensive linemen)

Green Bay (#7 in sacks)

Tennessee (#12 in sacks and 3rd best adjusted sack rate)

Tampa (5th best adjusted sack rate)

Washington (8th best adjusted sack rate)

According to NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, Hunter Sharp's pro comparison is none other than Steve Smith.

Intriguing, to say the least.

What round is he expected to go in? I like the kid but there are some red flags. Would be great for us in the slot with Beni/Funch outside.

boy looks like he can ball.   A Smitty comparison looks fairly accurate from the high lights. I love how the kid high points the ball and is physical with his breaks and hands when coming in contact with the DB.  there were some that could have been called or questioned but just enough to get separation but not get a call.   I wouldn't mind a late round pick 7th or undrafted FA.  Looks like a very good returner as well.

Sorry to get off topic but something that website (that is popular all over the web)...

Funny, the very same body of sports media that barely had the Panthers as competitive in the NFC South this year, because "looked how they won the division last year under .500 and lucked into a Ryan Lindley led Cardinals." According to them, the rest of the NFC South and conference is way better in 2015--no way the Panthers make the playoffs.

And this was said BEFORE Kelvin Benjamin went down--after KB went down we might as well have started to scout Joey Bosa--

Now suddenly we get: "Derp, who wouldn't have finished with a 15-1 and gone to the Super Bowl with THAT schedule!!" Forgetting that the Saints, Falcons, and Bucs all play the same schedule and didn't; They also forget that the Panthers were underdogs to Dallas on Thanksgiving; Forgetting that much of the media considered the Cardinals the team to beat right up and until we played them; They also forget that the Panthers were the overwhelming team to lose first when we were 6-0 and the Broncos, Pats, Atlanta, Bengals, and Packers were 6-0;

The Panthers weren't even viewed as capable of getting to 15 wins when we were sitting at 9 wins.

And of course, forgetting our team was missing our second-best offensive skill player all season, and the one player our QB probably spent all his time trying to develop a relationship with on the field in the off-season.

Cannot wait to see what future revisionist history the media has for the 2016 Panthers! Let's hope we go 19-0 so we can hear them all claim that "it was obvious it was going to happen given how loaded their roster was" after writing headlines in late August stating: "Will the Panthers be the first team in NFL history to go from 15-1 to 1-15? Here is why I think so".

    • The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.
    • No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)
    • That period started rough but the canes stayed with it.  They will when this game 3-1 or 4-2 the way it’s going.
