2nd pick is useless if you stick with OLB ,

Little high for Cyrus Jones if I'm gonna get a CB its gonna be a guy who can play outside.

I'm nearly certain we draft someone who we haven't brought in for a visit.

History supports that thought process.

Not really...Shaq Thompson came for a visit, Daryl Williams worked out for the Panthers in 2015, Kony Ealy and Philly Brown (undrafted) had visits, Trai Turner and Kevin Norwood (traded for last year) worked out in 2014, Kawaan Short had a private visit in 2013.  Could easily go either way.  Panthers draft a mix of players they scouted and didn't.  Honestly the ones they scout are the ones they probably have questions about.  I'm sure they have guys on the board they would definitely draft and don't waste their time scouting them, like Benjamin or Star.

I wouldn't be mad at that Mock Chickenwing.  I like Cravens move of a SS who will play in the box.  Like the Dodd pick but some have him gone by the time we draft..  here is one I just did.. thoughts...

Round 1 Pick 30: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama (B)
Round 2 Pick 31: Su'a Cravens, OLB/SS, Southern California (A)
Round 3 Pick 30: Charles Tapper, DE, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 4 Pick 31: Hassan Ridgeway, DT, Texas (B)
Round 5 Pick 29: Ben Braunecker, TE, Harvard (A)
Round 7 Pick 31: KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame (A+)

We had workouts with kb and star. Positional coaches did anyway if you were inferring we didn't.

I for one hope that we're done with small school OL.  Not that all of them will fail, but seemingly all of the ones we go for ultimately fail.  When it comes to OL, I hope we stick with power conference prospects.

Our OL right now:

Michael Oher - Ole Miss, SEC

Trai Turner - LSU, SEC

Ryan Kalil - USC, PAC 12

Andrew Norwell - OSU, Big 10

Mike Remmers - Oregon State, Big 10 or Darryl Williams - OU, Big 12

That's not an accident, folks.
