I expect a big season for J-Stew this year for 1,000 + yds with return of KB giving some breathing room and Daryl Williams taking over the RT position.

A first-timer in the "Top 100" is the first Panther to crack this year's list.

Running back  Jonathan Stewarticon-article-link.gif  ranked as the NFL's 86th-best player in the "Top 100 Players of 2016" on NFL Network. Each Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT, the show unveils 10 of the top 100 based on NFL players' votes.

Despite missing the final three games of the regular season to heal a foot injury, Stewart had the second-highest rushing total of his eight-year career with 989 yards on the ground. He was a catalyst for the league's highest scoring offense in his first season as the undisputed starter since the Panthers picked him 13th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Stewart might not have missed as much time if the Panthers had needed him, but with playoff positioning secured, they rested him. Stewart responded when he returned for the playoffs, setting the tone right away with a 59-yard gallop on Carolina's first snap in an NFC Division Playoff victory over Seattle. Stewart totaled 218 rushing yards in three postseason games and scored Carolina's lone touchdown in Super Bowl 50.

Reasonable and well-deserved, as he easily earns some of the hardest yards in the NFL. Perhaps overpaid by market standards, but Stew is invaluable to this offense. While people joke about his injury status the guy has played in 13 or more games 6 out of his 8 years in the league, missing 10 games in 2013 and 7 games in 2012.
