It sounds like he wants more guaranteed money upfront, I don't blame him one bit. He essentially won them a SB and it is time to pay up.

That is what he wants.  Suh and some others got more, and I wouldn't say they are better than him.

Not just more, but A LOT more. The Broncos are offering Miller virtually the same overall money that Suh got,  but Suh got $60M guaranteed. The Broncos are only offering Miller $40M guaranteed. That's a huge difference and as we all know, the only thing that really matters in an NFL contract is the guaranteed money.

The Broncos are guaranteeing the first two years of his deal. They'll probably have to guarantee the first three to get the deal done. The guy's only 27.  Seems a pretty safe bet for the donkeys to guarantee three.

If he's not there for the season opener I'll be pissed. Cause then Denver fans would try and make that an excuse as to why we demolished them.

Who gives a poo what their fans think? A win is a win.

I blame the Giants for all this.  I don't give a poo about Von, but they completely screwed the market up by paying top5 money to a CB and DE who have never done anything.

F the Giants!  I hope they suck ass for the next decade.

KK's agent is prob going to be looking at that Vernon contract too...

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
