USA Today says Brandon Boykin Starts at Slot Corner...

So, apparently I missed something. According to the bright minds at USA today, Brandon Boykin is still on the Panthers...

Replacing Norman (4 INTs, two returned for TDs) will be a story line that hangs over the defense all season. The Panthers used three consecutive draft choices on cornerbacks. Don't be surprised to see James Bradberry, a long-armed second-round pick, or Daryl Worley, a third-round selection with good size, start opposite Bene Benwikere. After breaking his leg in December, Benwikere is now the top outside corner for the Panthers. Robert McClain, a late-season addition, will figure into the mix prominently. Free agent Brandon Boykin will play slot corner. At safety, veteran Kurt Coleman had seven interceptions, tied for best in the NFC. With veteran Roman Harper not re-signed, expect Tre Boston to start.

    • I'm gonna go ahead and assume Walker is out. So, I'll go Niki.
    • I wouldn't be mad if we were losing by 1 or 2 and the games were hard hitting tightly contested games. I'd be frustrated and upset about losing, but I wouldn't be mad.    Right now I'm pissed, Rod's decision making, his system of play, the consistent bad results in the conference finals. Then the team comes out at home and gets plastered 10-2 in the first two games... Yeah I'm mad at the results on the ice
    • Man it’s not even about losing to the Panthers again, it’s how they are losing that makes me think a coaching change is needed. Florida is physical, got into the player’s heads, and it’s the coach’s job to get his players ready to play. Brindamour has failed miserably in the Conference Championship 3 times now. The Hurricanes look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs let alone in the conference championship game. If these games were close like in 2023 we’d be frustrated but not embarrassed and that’s the difference in a coach keeping or losing their job.
