I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet. We are a damn juggernaut of a team and deep as hell. This is MAINLY the reason I wasn't mad about Getts giving up a 2018 4th rounder for Lee because I already knew that prospect most likely wouldn't even make the team in 2018.

Calm down it's only preseason. So by your logic Henry should have been the 1st overall pick and Sharpe should have been the 2nd. Both rookie's are outplaying every draft pick in the PRESEASON.

Most people here know I view Gettleman as a mediocre GM who has benefited greatly from having guys like Cam and Luke already on the roster. And no, that doesn't mean I want Hurney back. The biggest difference in the rise of this team in my opinion is:

40% the evolution of Ron as a coach

25% the evolution of Cam as a qb

25% the rise of Luke

10% Dave

i also believe Norman would still be on this team if he were drafted by Dave

If I remember correct, Rivera told Sanchez when he was in for a workout or something that he was gonna be a great corner in this league. So Rivera must have been high on him at least. What DG thought though, proof is propably in this move I guess

i guess we won't know if gettleman is any good until we see a scenario where he forces a shitty coach and quarterback to win based purely on his rosters being so good that it's impossible for it not to happen
