ESPN's Dianna Russini reports that Jacoby Brissett only suffered a sprained thumb and will not require surgery.

Russini added that Brissett is "going to be fine." The Twittersphere was panicking after his initial diagnosis but now there's growing optimism that Brissett will be available for next week's game against Buffalo.       You know full well those are dubious comparisons at best because none of the QB's you mentioned are also the smallest QB in the league. Bryce Young is like it or not working from a disadvantage in just about every facet on an NFL field and that is why we need things to go perfect for him in order for him to have a productive day let alone for him to look like a top 10 QB. Some people just don't want to face the truth. Well you can only run from it for so long. Good luck with that.
