I am truly starting to lose interest in football. The BS they spew week in and week out. Hard to support such garbage.

So is the rest of the country. They influence the outcomes of games through their officials. Cam is such an X factor that they bend rules to make sure he can be stopped. NFL FO are scum

Until the Panthers publicly raise hell and get the majority of the national media also publicly raising hell, nothing will change on that front.

Cam has spoken out. Rivera spoke out voicing his support of Cam. Cam has spoken to Goodell. The Panthers have spoken to Goodell. The NFL has made it abundantly clear that nothing will change.

Time to start dishing out justice on the field. Hit Cam in the head, we're gonna send you off on a cart.

really want our guys to start playing dirty

Really want our guys to continue to stay classy and raise hell off the football field until something gives. Hurting other players by illegal means who have nothing to do with Cam getting his skull bashed in is precisely the way NOT to handle this. For one, our franchise is better than that. We have proven we can win without stomping on legs, twisting ankles, or playing launch-and-smash with other QBs heads. Secondly, how are we justified in asking the league to protect our QB if we are pulling the same crap?

It's like we are subject to different rules and the NFL doesn't see the disproportionate officiating.    It's like Cam's life doesn't matter.......................

The small-market Kerrlina Panters going 15-1 was probably the biggest sin to the NFL since Ray Rice-Gate. It really feels like the team  ruffled a poo ton of feathers of the angry old birds that spin the NFL money machine, added with Cam dabbing his way to an MVP and his Pre-Super Bowl comments about being a huge black man that scares people. It just feels like the team is being "put in their place" ATM .

Just my opinion,though.

This is going to be a PR nightmare at some point. I promise Cam will not be the only one who suffers. Refs need to be reeled in.

Like when Cam gets legitimately hurt by players now being groomed to attack him high in the pocket because their is no consequence ?

Yeah, eventually the league will have to acknowledge it....but it will suck for Cam

Exactly, they aren't going to do poo so let's see what happens when their whi- I mean golden boys get the same treatment.

In case you haven't noticed, all of this revolves around Cam. The league isn't going to look the other way if we throw illegal hits on Alex Smith, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, etc. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18002300/review-shows-two-hits-carolina-panthers-cam-newton-not-illegal

The NFL's preliminary review of two questionable hits by Los Angeles Rams defenders on Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton have determined that neither was clearly a violation of league rules, according to a league source

Translation:

So, Kansas City and all NFL teams the NFL has a message for you....Cam Newton's head is fair game.  You can crack him in the head.  I mean, we let Denver do it, we let everyone do it thus far.....so we aren't going to change anything going forward.  That would be an admission.   We did fine the Cards but that was the knee and haven't painted ourselves into the corner yet with his legs.  Head is and has been fair game for everyone.  It will be for you too.
