There's always that possibility. But it's just that, a possibility. 

Up to that point, they had 80 plays for 340 yards. 4 YPP. 2 of their scoring drives went for a total of 9 yards. The offense wasn't scoring on the defense so much as to where I would say it was a sure win for them. At the very least, we should have had a chance for OT.

It will be fun to watch your team continually sink resources into a ship that's full of holes and is gathering water. Drew Brees still playing half-well is the worst thing your franchise could possibly ask for. You're delaying the inevitable rebuild and making it harder and harder by kicking the cap hell down the line. You're destined for 7-9 seasons for the next three years and THEN you'll be in search of a new identity of a team, with a new QB, and no space to re-sign any players your coaches magically managed to turn into decent products.
