Please take this into consideration:

Blame the playcalls/playcallers. It's easy to say Gettleman didn't set this team up so well for this season but there's not much you can do about it now.

However, now you know your talent level. You know the personnel you have and what their abilities are. Playcalls are still long-developing routes with a terrible O-Line on 3rd down. Or a run up the middle on first and read-option on second. Defenses understand us and we are literally doing nothing to confuse them. We have simplified it down for them and not due to a lack of talent on the field, but a lack of intelligence for those on the sidelines.

Please fire Mike Shula.

Or interception?

I'll take a sack over Cam forcing an interception. Either way its lose lose

Get a better OL

Only the huddle would think 3 seconds or less means the O-line failed.  Most QBs get the ball out in less than 2.5 because they have to.  Throw the ball to the sidelines if you have to.

Just now, CRA said:

Cam has pressure from everywhere most snaps.  Dude has no choice but to not react...otherwise he would bail on every play

He's not the only QB in the league who has that issue. He's just the only one whose numbed himself to it, and its especially concerning given his refusal to just run.

Cam also has no vision. I've been saying that all along and how funny, recently a few dudes I have been watching games with for years are now seeing it too.

Of course....can't see anything with a opponents jersey directly in your face.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
