What do we do about Ted Ginn this offseason

Whenever Ginn, Philly , and Olsen are on the field, our offense looks like last years offense.  Whenever KB, Funch are on the field, our offense looks 1 dimensional.

Everyone talks about getting another fast guy .. like they are a dime a dozen.   They are not.  Everyone keeps looking at his age and assumes he is getting slower, but on the field, he is still blowing people's doors off.  He is still top 8 in speed.  Every year there is a fast guy, but they never stick.

That being said, Ginn is also cap friendly and actually wants to be here. It would be Stupid to let Ginn go.  I rather let KB/Funchess go before that.

I feel like we can upgrade over Ginn. We still keep him but I want someone with better hands and is more consistent on a game to game basis.

There's always fast guys out there. The late Al Davis loved drafting those guys but I don't believe any of them worked out. I'd say getting separation is key and while being fast helps, great route running or shiftiness can also do it. I say that because I doubt Ginn's ridiculous speed can ever be replaced in full.

I feel so like annoyed with him because I know for a fact if he could just get a little bit better with his hands and ball security nobody is going to be able to catch him but I think other teams seeing him as a klutz is a good thing because they don't know whether he's going to be catching a touchdown pass or he's going to be dropping a touchdown pass. Granted we don't really know either so there's that.

Man, you were doing so well there for a while. Then thud, you throw out that clunker.

I think I understand what you actually mean, but we really can't afford to let any WR get away right now. Because, almost every WR we do have, is upgradable. You just have to keep them around until you have the upgrade ready to go.

I feel your pain, heck, most of us do. But most also realize that finding fast guys is easy. It is finding fast guys that can actually catch, or run more than one route, that IS not easy.

I mean, c'mon man. If fast guys with hands were so prevalent, more teams would have 1, or 2. It is because they are so fast, and exciting, that it just seems like there are more of them that there truly is.

Keep him , Bring in Deshaun Jackson, Trade Kelvin for an extra 1st rounder, get Leonard Fournette and Jabrill Peppers in round 1 :P . Suddenly we are unstoppable. The Panthers will never do it because homerism and conservatism but this is entirely in the realm of possibility, if they really wanted to do it they could make it happen.

I don't see how this could possibly happen outside of Madden.
