That seems to be the attitude of the forty niners.  Hasn't worked out very well for them.

It's also the Browns method.

Didn't win it all this year? Fire somebody! That'll show em.

I've got to be honest, it wouldn't really bother me if the Falcons turned out to be the next 49ers or Browns.

Flame if u want, but I like what Atlanta is doing. Not putting up with the bullshit poo and demanding excellence.

Show results or get the fug out.

Much like we all ignored the fact that the offense was special last season, knowing Shula was going to come out and Shula in 2016.

Not sure if anyone remembers but Smith was the Panthers LB Coach back when we had Beason.

Cox? Longtime a--hole as both a player and a coach.

Cox shouldn't be allowed to have anything to do with the NFL. Or people for that matter.

Marquand Manuel, who served as the secondary/senior defensive assistant for the past two season, was promoted to defensive coordinator to replace Richard Smith by the Falcons on Friday.

Former NFL standout Bryant Young will become the defensive line coach and Doug Mallory, who was the assistant defensive backs coach, will replace Manuel.

Jerome Henderson, who was the passing game coordinator for the defense, is now likely to leave for San Francisco since he didn’t land the defensive coordinator position.

Manuel, a former journeyman defensive back, has never called signals, but is highly respected by Quinn.

Manuel caused a stir at the combine last season when he asked prospect Eli Apple if “he liked men.”

Young, 45, was the defensive line coach at Florida in 2011-2012 when Quinn was the defensive coordinator. He also coached in college at Notre Dame and San Jose State, but doesn’t have any NFL coaching experience.

Disagree.

While it is true the Falcons' D was on the field way too long, the size advantage eventually played a factor after the Falcons got tired. Their DEs and LBs got swallowed up by New England's mediocre OL.

Nonsense, it's not a disagreeable position unless you love ignoring facts.

The Atlanta offense ran 46 plays....that's 18 less plays than the NFL average and NE ran 93 plays.

ATL scored 28 points 1 was a pick 6 the other was after a Blount fumble. So the defense lead to half the points they scored...and literally did score 25% of their points. Not on the D.

For all of those that screamed for blood after we lost our Superb Owl last year, here's a good opportunity to see what happens when you get your wish.

This won't be pretty if you're a Falcons fan. It should be pretty fun for the rest of us, though.

Yea we already know what happens when you don't.

Then again the Ravens and Broncos show us what happens when you DO.

Third in a row don't give a squirt.

Doesn't even matter if it doesn't work out...who the fug are you anyway...Panther fan? like what? we got something to say about sitting pat with dead beat coaches....lol.

We DO know that Shula can't/won't get it done...we have no idea if the new Falcons coaches will be any good or not.

Other teams seem to actually mean it when they say they evaluate and try to improve each position...Panthers not so much...there were HC upgrades before Rivera made the SB and the team never and would never even maybe possibly consider a move. Nevermind that there are and have always been OC upgrades since the day the ink dried on that things contract.
