Didn't even know the station had new owners, so obviously I can't answer that.

I'd be curious, of course.

Same people that bought out WBT bought WFNZ. FNZ has been unbearable for a few years now so no tears here for them. Charlotte is too big of a market to have a poo local sports radio station.

Didn't know WBT was purchased either.

I agree. This is too good of a sports market to have this quality of sports talk radio. I don't mind Mac and TBone. They aren't great, but they fit well for the morning show. A morning show isn't suppose to be all sports talk. They can be funny and entertaining at times.

Nate and QBC was so unbearable I could never listen to it, so I cannot really critique them. I can't imagine QCB being great with his own show, but it has to be better than with Nate.

Frank and Yarbs is also pretty brutal, but nowhere near Nate bad. Kroeger is a HUGE homer and I don't get why they never let him do a show alone. They always make him sit in with random guest hosts. It really makes no sense to me. The station in general is a huge disaster, but it is the only place I can get consistent Panther talk.

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
