Am I the only person in this thread who likes to eat wings without dressing?  I'll throw down some blue cheese if it's homemade, but truly good wings shouldn't need dressing.

I don't.  I know it's blasphemy, but I've never been big on either ranch or blue cheese.

My current favorites are DD Peckers and Moosehead Blackened.  Unfortunately, I live on the other side of town from both, so I don't get either of them often.

Township had some great wings back in the day, along with The Scoreboard, so those were always two of my favorites growing up.

The Scoreboard was the greatest! Had many a good night in that place. The wings, ohhhhhh the wings! Wish they were still around. Now they sell insurance out of that building. What a waste

The Scoreboard was my favorite restaurant growing up.  I lived fairly close by, and it was just such a neat concept at the time for a huge sports fan like me to be able to watch the big screens with stadium seating and eat awesome wings.

I only use it to dip my celery in.  I wouldn't dare ruin a good wing with it.

Another Upstate NYer here to validate the already clearly stated and well informed opinions regarding the singular superiority of blue cheese on wings. It's a strong flavor so not much is needed. Sometimes just the celery dipped in it is enough to compliment excellent wings.

As opposed to the drowning in ranch I've seen some do. And I don't mind ranch on French fries or a salad...but wings? I don't get it.

Yup, used to be the best sports bar in Charlotte at one time, plus I knew some people in the kitchen so...

those were the days.

I have epilepsy and suffer from migraines and I eat blue cheese. Suck it up. Also this thread is useless without pics of these wings.

So you get migraines from blue cheese? Or are you just talking out your ass knowing different things cause migraines for different people?

To be honest I've never heard blue cheese causes migraines but even if they did it's still worth it. But you're right different things can cause migraines. poo posts give me them.
