Would like to see Switzer here with the right pick, I just don't think we could use him the right way. He's tiny, Cam's accuracy issues, just don't know about it.  In a Sproles type role/return man? Sure. But his ceiling as a WR here I don't know.  Byrd seemingly won't make the roster again, and he's got a lot of the same tools. And he's an inch taller.

Yeah I saw a couple of games he was always coming up with a big play.

So here is the question.  Do you take him or Zay Jones.

Different players and different rounds.

Jones could be an outside receiver that I expect to go somewhere around first half of second round.

Switzer will be a slot that will have to find the right fit.  I could see him going from the 4th-6th. I would expect him to have a really wide range on different teams boards.

Whoa whoa whoa

you don't invoke the GOAT without a good reason.  In no way shape or form does Ryan Switzer compare to Smitty.

(I know you're not comparing them)

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
