He's another weak wide receiver that will struggle to get separation and catch the ball.

I see what your saying and I hope that's not the case. I personally don't see KB as a player that's going to lead the league in catches or yards. I see him not as the stereotypical receiver but as a player that can be known as the one who makes the really tough, clutch catches. The dangerous red zone target that a defense has to key on but will still be deficult to stop. The guy that makes the hard fought 1st down catch on 3rd and long when we really need it late in the game. Dependable.

I believe he has the potential to be that guy. I hope at least.

If we're getting anyone from Michigan I'd rather it be Charlton or Butt

Why do you think they took him out to dinner.  They were trying to get some Butt.   Maybe that's not what you meant.  I just want to know after the dead was done who was the spooner and who was the spoonee?

Panthers typically wine and dine prospects who they feel will go undrafted, like Keyarris Garrett last year. Proehl met with him.

No reason to wine and dine a draft pick. Its not like they have a choice of where to go.

UDFA do have choices who to sign with. Keyarris said specifically he chose Carolina last year because of the time Proehl spent with him.

So your saying Proehl was the old spoonee. Well who is the new one now?

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
