Welcome to Draft Week on the Huddle

Hello there. We are glad you are here.

It is draft week on the Huddle. Officially, this is our 14th draft week. We have learned much over the years to keep this joint running like a well lubed battery operated device.

As such, here are the ground rules for the draft.

 - Exactly ONE thread will be created by an admin or mod for each selection. That thread shall be used for general talk and knee jerk reactions. If you start a thread titled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" for example, you will likely be banned until after the draft is over.

- If you have an idea for a thread that is well thought out and composed relating the pick to the team, that is fine. An example may be "How will this pick change what the panthers do on offense?" As long as your topic has a unique idea and has quality content, you won't be banned.

Now, a word on SPOILERS........

No one cares that you are on twitter and know the pick 20 seconds before the television.

THERE ARE NO SPOILERS ON THE HUDDLE. We recognize the pics as they are announced at he podium. You spoil, you banned.

Follow these simple rules and no one gets hurt.

A word of warning to all.

There's always 1 or 2 guys who think they're funny. Do NOT look in the main draft thread if you don't want to be spoiled while watching the draft. There's always that one guy who posts the guy and think they're the coolest thing since poo, and don't care.

Don't say I didn't warn you all.

Before you meltdown if Jacksonville passes on Fournette and we theoretically "trade up" for 6...

The Jets are the only willing trading partners (and they really want to trade down) after the Jaguars, and the Bengals really want Fournette. Some rumors Saints are as well and want to leapfrog. That would prove to be detrimental to use getting Fournette, who is highly rated on our board.

So, if we trade for 6, don't freak out and assume it's for no reason.

    • Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
