Now that we know who DG had available to choose from, who would have you picked?

Might be interesting to look back in a year, especially when people start "claiming" who they would have picked.

Also going the "should have traded up/down" route is weak since we really don't know the offers they had.

Based on who was left on the board I probably would have gone McCaffrey also.

Barnett I like better than Lattimore though maybe would've gone with him, but seems like other teams have Lattimore higher so would be better value and could try and get Barnett later. Future reference this poo if you want. I've probably got no clue.

      No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad

      I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.

      Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible.
