Asheville is the cream of the crop in N.C.moreover it is one of the best cities i've been to in the U.S.

to name just a few of the attractions in Asheville... the Orange Peel is a first class venue for music, the Beer Garden offers a quazillion beers ,if your thing is craft beer then the Wicked Weed is an excellent choice , Appalachian Trail for the hiking enthusiats, the Biltmore Estate for history buffs, the French broad for rafting, also is a great place for the trout angeler and small mouth bass fisherman, good place to grab a bite to eat is the Mellow Mushroom so if you like mountains this is a must see that has alot to offer

Wicked weed sold out to anheuser busch. You're gonna be able to buy that beer anywhere soon. To say the locals are PISSED is an understatement. Busch is the devil for craft beer people. They have gone out of their way to try and crush the little guy as much as possible. This may sound snobby but it's not. Keep it local, pump money into the economy and to the people who live in Asheville and started their own business. Tons of other amazing local breweries to choose from.

mellow mushroom is probably the last place I'd recommend to eat in Asheville. Try local places. King daddy's, bonfire BBQ, tupelo honey, biscuit head, salsa's, farmburger, ABC or Barleys pizza.

What is one to do/go see when one gets the opportunity? Excited to announce that I am indeed moving out of the "12th Man, Russ is better than Cam cause he's a team leader, who's Matt Hasselbeck?" territory I've spent all 23 years of my life in, and am moving to Charlotte this Sunday. Before anyone asks, No, I unfortunately am not employed by the Panthers, but I will say that I am currently employed by a player on the team.

So what are the MUSTS to do in Charlotte, NC, SC in the Summer/Fall that I absolutely MUST do or see?

I am beyond excited, as Charlotte is by far the greatest, most beautiful place on Earth. Trading in 5 degree, rainy and snowy winters for hot and humid summers is going to be well worth it. Bump this if needed, but this has been my source for 10 plus years and everyone on here is fantastic with suggestions and anything related to this beautiful area.

Outer Banks, Mountains, Myrtle Beach, and Wilmington. Of course I am partial to Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, because I am a beach kind of person.

no doubt thats definetly a bummer about Wicked Weed. i heard on the radio awhile back that Anheuser Busch was even trying to buy Miller Brewing Co.jeeez i guess it's the fugging Wal Mart 2.0 of the beer industry

but like you said Asheville has alot of other top notch options in the craft brew industry.

First of all, farmburger is a chain from atlanta

These are some crap restaurants too

Best bbq joint in town right now is probably buxton hall. Their sides are just ridiculous. Tupelo Honey is not worth the wait at all.

Biscuit head is whatever. the best like fancy poo poo vegan grass cows volunteered to be slaughtered type breakfast is sunny point on the west side. Be alarmed there's a substantial wait for that place on the weekend.

if you want the best trashy breakfast youve ever had in your life, Happy Jacks on Tunnel Road is nuts. They do breakfast nachos which are basically cheap shitty nachos + scrambled eggs and bacon.

Not a MUST-do list but definitely worth looking into or at least keep in mind.

Can't believe no one mentioned US National whitewater center. Crowder's mountain is a half hour away from Charlotte, nice hike and good view from the top. Inside the city, it seems to be lit at breweries lately. Epicenter is a melting pot for 18 year olds and obnoxious rap music, but if you're into that, I'd say music factory is a better time. Comedy zone there is pretty chill. There's a bunch of hooka lounges now, Crave being up there and bunch of other more traditional types. It's fun to go to Knights stadium. Anywhere uptown is fun to walk to, lots of little parks here and there but not sure if you're into that. Lake Wylie and Norman are right here, the water at lake Norman is better... like I said, not sure what you into.

First of all you're a bitch.

Didn't know about farm burger. It's tits. Buxton Hall is righteous. I like bonfire BBQ. The Pork slam is ridic. Not waiting in line for two hours for sunny point although I've heard it's the best breakfast in town. I love, love love biscuit head. I could eat there every morning. King daddy's chicken and waffle. Lived in west Asheville for 3 years before moving to the east side which sucks balls but I found a cheaper house.

Also west aville just got a pizza joint at the end of the strip past harvest records. Looks cool but haven't check it out yet.
