Overproduced video, notwithstanding, Cam looks pretty good. He's in great shape, he's motivated and he's confident. What more can you ask at this point of the process?

I was surprised with the amount of drama they packed into that video lol.  Very theatrical...  Excited  for this step in the progression but, that video production was a bit much for throwing 10 yards inside of a locker room.

Everybody talking mechanics seem to forget something. Good mechanics does not always mean good throws. Carson Palmer, great mechanics. Guy is the definition of fundamental. Would you have him over Cam?

Wanna know QBs with less-than-good mechanics? Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, Brett Favre. All very effective. 

Can we stop acting like mechanics are everything already? Is he effective should be all that matters. Rodgers and Cam have very similar technique. Both use their hips to throw more than anything else. Nobody is trashing Rodgers because his receivers get separation and he also has a knack for chucking up prayers and his receivers come down with it. If he didn't have the open looks he gets, his numbers wouldn't be so much better than Cam's (and Rodgers has a career completion percentage of 65% to Cam's 58%).

Sure, Cam IS more accurate with the tighter mechanics. Sure, he can put the ball wherever he wants it when he has time and can really focus on the step and finish, but in this league it is hard to always have that. Put Brady behind our OL and watch those mechanics go all over the place at times as well. I can tell you one thing for sure, Brady wouldn't be as good at throwing like that as Cam is. I'd bet on it.

So, in closing, get over the mechanics issue with Cam. He's accurate enough and if CMC and Samuel can be receivers that get that separation, Cam's completion numbers will benefit and everybody will shut up.

Also, @lightsout makes a good point. Cam doesn't need mechanics to be accurate. He already has proven he can be accurate with his style.
