Preseason Game 2 Winners and Losers

O-Line outside of Silatolu, Clausell, Gradkowski, and Folkerts. Backup LT is a concern if Matt were to ever go down. But top to bottom the unit looks good.

Matt Kalil has been a solid surprise; Norwell & Turner have been stellar as always; Ryan is Ryan; Darryl Williams has gotten much better; Moton has been really impressive; Tyler Larsen is as good of a backup center you'll find; Chris Scott is an adequate backup at right guard; Dan France and Van Roten have been solid depth at guard; and Yankey has been solid as well grading out as the top left guard for week one.

Winners

CMC

CAP

Armah

Webb

Bradberry (about the only highlight on the 1st D)

Losers

Mike Adams

Worley- got beat pretty easily

Kickreturners- those first 2 returns were horrid

D'S

Heck the whole 1st O and D minus CMC and Bradberry

And biggest loser today.......the coaching staff

I posted in the game thread.

We havnt watched film on them for a week like we would in the regular season.

BUT we have played them TWICE this week already in scrimmages. And Still making the same mistakes except even worse than the time before.

I get we didn't see film on Taylor their 3rd rounder from this year.  But he ran wide open day 1 this against us.  Then day 2 got even Wider open against us.  And as if we hadn't seen him do it to us in 2 other scrimmages this week, he makes our DBs look lost Again!

Kk and Pep pushed through their OL like a sled day 1.  Day 2 much much less their OL looked to do a better job.  Today 3rd time we couldn't hardly get pressure against their 1st string OL (minus the one Pep rush)

Their coaches saw mistakes in the other 2 times we played them this week and adjusted.

Us not so much, and this has been a major weakness all along.  We have been among the bottom of the league how adjust coming out after half.  And we clearly are still having a hard time facing the same foe for the 3rd time since Wed.

Tenn staff coached circles around us this week.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
