Seahawks at #2?  Richardson is a beast no doubt, but their top draft pick may never play.

It seems like every year the media is on the Seahawks nuts, regardless how their team looks talent wise.

No one knows what to do with us, including us.

The most unrankable group for Week 1. Admittedly, I am probably too low on the Panthers. This feels like a possible 9-7 outfit, but there only one team can inhabit the No. 16 spot in these rankings. And of the groups in pro football's Middle Earth, I have the most concerns and questions about this Carolina team:

1) What about the pass rush coming off the edge?
2) Who can hold coverage, other than James Bradberry?
3) Who is the vertical threat in this offense?
4) Cam Newton threw all of two passes in August.
5) How long can Greg Olsen keep being the top option?

Am I missing something? Would love a few Panthers hot takes. (@HarrisonNFL)

There's are all extremely valid critiques. Although I'd replace #5 with how well the new starting tackles will do in protecting Cam . Gregs going to have a monster season

Is it disrespectful, or is it merely commensurate with where we picked in the draft? When viewed through that lens, it's actually pretty generous. We had the 8th worst record last year, and we're only 10th worst on the power rankings.

I think you might be overrating our overall talent level quite a bit. Very few teams would trade our secondary and WR corps for theirs.

And yes, every team has concerns, but from the outside looking in, Cam's health is a HUGE question mark and we all saw how terrible DA looked last year and this preseason. That alone is enough to knock us down several spots.

And our brain trust let him play in week 17 last year.  Smh
